Choose the Correct sunscreen

June 2, 2011

In this short video, Dr. Neal Schultz shares how exposure to the sun leads to skin cancer, and all we have to do is choose and USE the correct sunscreen.

In addition to what Dr. Schultz shares, Cancer.gov talks about the ramifications of NOT having sunscreen.

Find more resources & reasons to grab your sunscreen at  Skincancer.org  – the site for The Skin Cancer Foundation.

  • Since its founding in 1979, The Skin Cancer Foundation has set the standard for educating the public and the medical profession about skin cancer, its prevention by means of sun protection, the need for early detection, and prompt, effective treatment. It is the only international organization devoted solely to combating the world’s most common cancer, now occurring at epidemic levels.

Skin cancer is nothing to joke about.  Whether it’s the 1mm per year, or 3mm per year,  1 out of 5 people or 1 death every hour –  this is a major problem.

Take advantage of one of these 5 great sunscreens through Arbonne.   All with SPF between 15 and 30 – as Dr. Schultz suggested, and created for different skin types.

Arbonne Baby Care Sunscreen –   Protect baby’s delicate skin with this gentle, water-resistant sunscreen that provides broad-spectrum sun protection. Formulated with SPF 30+, this lotion provides maximum protection for sensitive skin.
Oat, aloe and shea butter oils

BEFORE Sun Sunscreen – This advanced, water resistant formula includes a premium sunscreen ingredient, Parsol® 1789 and helps prevent sunburn by preserving maximum SPF even after 40 minutes of activity in the water.

Revelage – Daily Cream, Hand Cream, and Spot Minimizer –  helps prevent signs of premature skin aging due to sun exposure.
